It’s going to be a while before you see anyone flying around with the Victor mount. The game is quite stingy with those Lynx summoning horns, but keep saving your totems- Endwalker will eventually let you exchange them for a guaranteed mount in future patches. It’s another random drop, but the mount comes from The Minstrel’s Ballad: Hydaelyn’s Call instead. Lynx of Divine LightĮndwalker’s dark lynx has an ethereal opposite, and that’s the Lynx of Divine Light. Square Enix has given you horses, birds, wolves, and dragons for your Extreme Trial accomplishments, but the rewards are even better this time-now, we have cats. Once you’ve got your spoils, take them to Radz-at-Han and trade those tokens at the Totem and Sundry Exchange to receive your new mount. You’ll need to defeat Chi twice with maximum participation rewards to obtain 12 Chi Bolts. You can claim your own by completing the Omicron Recall Fate chain in Ultima Thule and killing Chi in the final fight, Omicron Recall: Killing Order. Yep, one of Endwalker’s new mounts is that Level Checker, the very same one that caused you endless pain in Stormblood’s Omega Raids.
It’s a possible reward for getting three lines in your Wondrous Tails journal. Calydontis requires trading one Khloe’s Gold Certificate of Commendation, but actually getting that token is mostly RNG. Wondrous Tails has more goodies with the new expansion, too. A pup to pal around with seems like a fair trade for all the tears. After completing 6.0’s Main Story Quest, you’ll automatically receive Argos as a reward. Your reward for completing Endwalker is more than an empty tissue box and existential crisis. The mount horn will pop up in your in-game mailbox shortly after the purchase. Just visit the Mog Station-where you handle all of your usual account business-and upgrade your copy of Endwalker to the Digital Collector’s Edition.
